Brushing Routine

Brush the Biewer Terrier's long, silky coat daily with a pin brush and fine-tooth comb. The coat is similar to a Yorkshire Terrier's but tri-colored and parts down the spine. Work through sections methodically from ends to roots, using detangling spray to prevent breakage. Pay extra attention to behind the ears, under the legs, and around the harness area where mats form quickly.

Bathing Tips

Bathe every 2-3 weeks with a silky coat-specific shampoo and follow with a moisturizing conditioner. Leave conditioner on for 3-5 minutes before rinsing. The fine, single-layer coat tangles easily when dirty, so regular bathing is essential. Wrap in a towel to blot moisture, then blow-dry on low heat while brushing straight.
