Bathe every 6-8 weeks with a mild, moisturizing shampoo. Their low stature means the belly picks up ground moisture and dirt easily, so spot-clean the underside between baths. Dry thoroughly with a high-velocity dryer, paying special attention to the dense undercoat which retains water.
